A Lost Beatles Interview is Set to be Aired After 44 Years of Dormancy

The British Broadcasting Corp. will air a long lost Beatles interview featuring John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking about the day they met and their songwriting partnership.

The precious film sat forgotten for 44 years in a garage in south London until film fan Richard Jeffs realized a piece of pop history was contained inside.

50,000 People Honor Nelson Mandela on His 90th Birthday

Will Smith charmed the crowd, Amy Winehouse wowed them just by showing up — but Nelson Mandela proved to be the biggest star of all at a concert Friday in honor of the South African statesman's 90th birthday.

Acts including Queen, Razorlight, Leona Lewis and a host of African stars joined more than 40,000 music fans for the outdoor show in London's Hyde Park, hosted by movie star Smith and held to mark Mandela's birthday on July 18.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Wow, I don't know a single artist in your album releases or chart listings. Do any of them actually play instruments, or are they corporate generated talent?

Even though I don't personally like John Mayer's music, he's a pretty good guitarist when he wants to be.

He is a good guitarist....makes funny faces when he gets into it also:)......Also, another suggestion....even if your not a huge fan of his, is Dave Matthews!! They are awesome to watch!!

John Mayer is a very talented individual with crossover play. I was at a show a few years back and he was on the bill for Counting Crows. To my astonishment he was headlining, and the Crows opened up. Guitar style he rips the blues in Clapton, Ray Vaughn style but he also is jazzed versed with a commercial pop hook to him. That means that he appeals to the masses. Check out some of his vids of his concerts, like an old blues or Cissy Strut.
